SunFamily collects minimal information, all stored exclusively on your device:

• Location Information: Approximate location data to provide weather and UV index information (with your permission) — stored only on your device
• Family Information: Names and photos of family members you add to the App — stored only on your device
• Timer & Alert Data: Sun exposure times and reminder preferences — stored only on your device
• Subscription Information: Purchase history and subscription status through App Store (managed by Apple)

3. How We Use Your Information

All data is processed locally on your device only:

• Calculate and send sun exposure reminders and alerts
• Provide weather and UV index information based on your location
• Enable family member tracking and notifications

We do not: Send data to our servers, perform analytics, track usage, or retain data beyond your device.

4. Data Storage & Security

All your data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not transmit, backup, or store your personal information on external servers or cloud services. Your data is protected by your device's security measures. When you delete the app, all associated data is permanently removed from your device.

5. Third-Party Services

SunFamily minimizes third-party data sharing:

• Weather Services: Your location is sent only to weather APIs to fetch current UV index and weather data. This data is not stored or logged by us.
• Apple App Store: Subscription and purchase information is managed entirely by Apple

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not control or have access to any data they collect directly.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only when:

• Required by law or legal process
• Necessary to protect our rights and safety
• Required to provide services (e.g., CloudKit for sync)

7. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for family use. If children's information is collected through family features, we collect only the minimum necessary (names, photos). Parents/guardians are responsible for managing children's data and controlling their privacy settings.

8. Data Retention

All user data is stored exclusively on your device. When you delete the SunFamily app, all associated data is permanently deleted from your device. We do not retain any copies of your data on external servers.

• Opt-Out: Disable location, notifications, and analytics in App settings
